Privacy Policy

Overview

Varanti respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. In short: we don't sell your data, don't share it with third parties, and don't show ads.

Data Collected

Varanti only stores information you enter:

• Product name, brand, and category
• Purchase date and warranty expiry date
• Serial number and notes (optional)
• Document images you upload

No other personal data (location, permissions beyond camera, device ID, etc.) is collected.

iCloud Sync

The app can sync your data across devices via iCloud (CloudKit). This data is stored encrypted on Apple's infrastructure and is only accessible with your Apple ID. Varanti has no direct access to this data.

Notifications

Local notifications (UNUserNotifications) are used for warranty expiry reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to servers. You can turn off notifications at any time in Settings.

Data We Don't Share

Varanti:

• Uses no analytics or tracking tools
• Sends no data to advertising networks
• Does not share data with third parties
• Does not track user behavior

Your Rights

When you delete the app, all local data is removed from your device. To delete iCloud data, go to Settings → Your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage App → Varanti.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. You will receive an in-app notification for significant changes. The current policy is always accessible from the Settings screen.
